This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable conduct and prohibited activities for the use of any and all services provided by Internetivo.com ("we," "us," or "our"), including web hosting, server management, domain registration, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP constitutes a breach of the Terms and Conditions and may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your Services, at our sole discretion, without notice or refund.
1. Compliance with Law and Regulations
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, including, but not limited to:
European Union Law (including GDPR).
The laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
All laws pertaining to copyright, trademark, patent, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights.
Laws relating to privacy, defamation, and obscenity.
2. Prohibited Activities and Content
The following list includes, but is not limited to, activities and content that are strictly prohibited on Internetivo.com's infrastructure:
A. Illegal and Harmful Activities
Financial & High-Risk Services: Hosting or facilitating services related to un-regulated financial schemes, cryptocurrency mining, crypto exchanges, or any service deemed excessively high-risk or prone to misuse (e.g., Ponzi schemes, HYIPs).
Restricted Goods: Selling, distributing, or promoting illegal or restricted goods, including, but not limited to, illegal drugs, pharmaceuticals, weapons, firearms, or ammunition.
Terrorism/Hate Speech: Promoting or engaging in acts of violence, hate speech, illegal discrimination, or supporting terrorist organizations.
B. Security, Abuse, and Network Integrity
Network Attacks: Any attempts to compromise the security or integrity of our network or another network, including, but not limited to, hacking, denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port scanning, or vulnerability testing.
Malware Distribution: Distributing, storing, or linking to any software, application, or tool that introduces viruses, Trojan horses, worms, malware, or other harmful components.
Phishing/Fraud: Hosting or linking to any content designed to facilitate scams, phishing, fraud, or identity theft.
Spamming: Sending any unsolicited bulk or commercial email ("Spam"). This includes promotional, informational, or commercial content sent without the explicit, verifiable consent of the recipient.
Resource Abuse: Any activity that excessively consumes system resources (CPU, RAM, disk I/O, network bandwidth) and degrades the performance of the server or network, as determined by our resource monitoring tools. This includes the use of data scraping, extensive web crawling, or automated non-standard requests.
C. Content and Intellectual Property
Piracy/Copyright Infringement: Hosting, linking to, or distributing content in violation of copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights. This includes pirate content, illegal file-sharing, or distributing unauthorized copies of software or media.
Pornography/Obscenity: Hosting or distributing pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit material.
Defamation: Posting or transmitting any material that is libelous, harassing, or defamatory.
3. Communication and Conduct Policy
You must interact with Internetivo.com employees and other customers in a professional and respectful manner. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:
Threats and Harassment: Any use of threatening, abusive, defamatory, or vulgar language directed at our staff, partners, or other customers.
Reputational Harm: Any attempt to "bad mouth" or undermine the reputation of Internetivo.com through false statements, public defamation, or unwarranted negative campaigns.
Suspicious Activity: Engaging in any conduct, communication, or transaction that we, in our sole discretion, deem suspicious, inappropriate, or harmful to our business operations or security.
4. System Maintenance and Security
You are responsible for the security and maintenance of your hosted application and content.
Software Updates: You must ensure that all software used on your service (including Content Management Systems like WordPress, Joomla, and server-side scripts) is kept up-to-date and patched against known vulnerabilities. Failure to update outdated, vulnerable systems may result in service suspension to protect the integrity of the network.
Account Security: You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and are liable for any activity that occurs under your account.
5. Violations of the AUP
Internetivo.com reserves the absolute right to determine what constitutes a violation of this AUP. When we become aware of a potential violation, we may initiate an investigation. During or after an investigation, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including, but not limited to:
Issuing a warning.
Requiring you to immediately remove the prohibited content or cease the prohibited activity.
Immediate and permanent suspension or termination of your Services without notice.
Disabling access to your account and data.
Imposing administrative fees.
Reporting the activity to law enforcement agencies.
No refund will be provided if your Services are terminated due to a violation of this AUP.
