1. How to ask us to delete your account
You can ask for your Internetivo account to be deleted in any of these ways. You do not need to keep the app installed.
In the Internetivo app: open Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account, and confirm.
On the website: sign in at https://internetivo.com, open Security (https://internetivo.com/index.php?m=ivo&a=security), choose Request account deletion, and confirm.
If you cannot sign in: open a privacy and data ticket from the email address on your account and ask for the account to be deleted. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we act.
You do not need to finish anything first. Tasks in progress, payments and disputes do not stop your account from being closed; they follow the normal rules in our Terms, and we show you what will happen to each before you confirm.
2. What happens next
- We confirm that we received your request.
- We act without undue delay and answer within one month at the latest, as GDPR Article 12(3) requires. If a request is complex we may need up to two further months; if so, we tell you within the first month.
- Your account is closed straight away: you are signed out everywhere, your profile is hidden and any open applications are withdrawn.
- Earnings we owe you are still paid. Earnings that are still clearing finish clearing on the normal schedule. Once cleared, we pay them to the payout details you confirm when you ask for deletion, as one final payout after our usual review. The minimum payout amount does not apply to this final payout.
- Credit is not paid out. Credit can only be used to buy services from Internetivo and is not refunded or transferred, so any Credit left on the account is lost when the account is deleted. We ask you to confirm this before you delete.
- Once nothing is left to settle (your final payout is paid and any open matter is resolved), we erase your personal data: your name, contact details, profile, public profile, saved payout details, notification history and device tokens are removed or anonymised. If you had no earnings to pay, this happens within 30 days; if earnings are still clearing, it happens once they are paid, which can take longer.
- Your sign-in is closed. You will not be able to sign in again with your password, or with Google, Apple or Facebook. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Internetivo's access with Apple.
3. What we keep, and for how long
The right to erasure does not cover records we must keep to meet a legal obligation, or records we need for legal claims (GDPR Article 17(3)(b) and (e)). These records are kept even after an account is deleted. They are kept without your name or contact details attached, and only for the period the law requires:

4. Deleting only some of your data
You can also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account, or to export a copy of your data first. Open a privacy and data ticket and tell us what you need. We answer within the same one-month period. Your rights are explained in the Privacy Policy.
